UBLIC NOTICE: GRADING OR RE-GRADING OF ACCOMMODATION FACILITIES IN DAR ES SALAAM REGION (PHASE I)

NOTICE FOR GRADING OR RE-GRADING OF ACCOMMODATION 

FACILITIES IN DAR ES SALAAM REGION (PHASE I)

All owners and operators of accommodation facilities in Dar es Salaam Region are hereby notified that the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism shall conduct Grading/Re-grading of all designated accommodation facilities in Dar es Salaam Region. To this effect, the Ministry gives thirty (30) days notice, from the date of issuance of this notice, for the owners and operators of accommodation facilities in Dar es Salaam Region to make the necessary preparations for a smooth and efficient run of the ensuing exercise.

The Criteria for Grading, and the list of accommodation facilities scheduled for grading/re-grading in this Phase 1 for 2017, are available HERE also available at www.tanzaniatourism.go.tz and www.tourismcollege.go.tz.

This notice is given in consideration of Sections 10 (3), 17, 53 (1) (b) and (c), 46 (1) (a) and (f) of the Tourism Act, No. 29 of 2008; and Regulation 5 of the Tourism (Fees and Charges) of 2015 (GN.267).
