The ELCT-ECD Investment Trust is a commercial entity of the Registered Trustees of The Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania (ELCT) - Eastern and Coastal Diocese (ECD). The core objectives of the Trust are:-To be the vehicle that will be used to achieve greater investment by the ELCT-ECD for its well being so as to support itself financially, to advice the  ELCT-ECD where and when to invest and how much to invest, To mobilize financial resources from the general public and in certain specific communities and groups in society, locally and internationally, in order to meet the costs of implementing development programmes and activities and  to cooperate with relevant national and international institutions in order to participate jointly in eradicating poverty.

The Investment Trust is offering an investment opportunity to develop its plots which are located in Dar es Salaam - Central District Business area.

The first release of joint development is proposed to be at plot number 552 in Upanga just opposite Muhimbili National Hospital, Mindu Street.  The plot is 2,878.59 square meters. The other plots are number 296 - 299 at Mikocheni close to Mwalimu Nyerere bus station, these plot are 3,960 square meters. The plots are prime for commercial, residential, diplomatic residences, and offices. In addition, the plots are surrounded by all basic infrastructure including electricity, water and tarmac roads.

 
In that regard, the Board of Trustees of ELCT - ECD INVESTMENT TRUST invites expression of interest from different investors/partners under the following clusters; A: Embassies, International Organizations/Agencies B: Social Security Funds, International Financial Agencies C: Real estate developer Companies/organizations.
