Kituo cha mafunzo chazinduliwa kuiongezea thamani soko la ajira la uhandisi na usimamizi wa miradi
Wataalam zaidi ya 1,200 katika fani ya uhandisi, usanifu majengo na usimamizi wa miradi, wanatarajiwa kuingizwa katika soko la ajira hapa nchini kila mwaka kutokana na uanzishwaji wa kituo cha mafunzo cha Computer Aided Drafting & Design (CADD) cha jijini Dar es Salaam.
Kituo hicho kilichozinduliwa jana, kwa kushirikiana na moja ya taasisi ya uchapishaji ijulikanayo kama Desktop Publishing Institute (DPI) la Dar es Salaam, kitasaidia katika kuongeza thamani katika fani tajwa na hivyo kubadilisha na kuboresha ufanisi wa kazi katika sekta hizo.
Hii ilibainishwa na mmoja wa waanzilishi wa DPI, Bi. Debra Backlund, wakati wa uzinduzi wa kituo hicho ambacho ni wabia katika biashara na kituo cha mafunzo chaComputer Aided Drafting & Design (CADD) cha nchini India.
Bi. Debra alisema kituo hicho kinampango wa kushirikiana na taasisi mbali mbali za elimu ya juu na makampuni ya kibiashara ili kubaini mapungufu yaliyopo katika wataalam wenye ujuzi na kutoa mafunzo ya kipekee kwa wanafunzi na wataalamu katika sekta hiyo.
"Katika jitihada za kupata mafunzo bora yanayotambuliwa kimataifa na kuongeza utaalam katika vitengo vya maendeleo, kituo cha CADD cha Dar es salaam kina nia ya kuongeza ushindani katika soko la Tanzania kwa kutoa mafunzo ya kitaalam kwa kuwawezesha wataalam hao kutumia compyuta katika kazi zao. Tumejipanga kuzalisha wataalam watakaotosheleza mahitaji ya viwanda na sekta za huduma nchini," Debra alisema.
Aliongeza kuwa kituo hicho kitatoa vyeti vitavyotambuliwa kimataifa kwa watainiwa watakaofanya vizuri baada ya kupata mafunzo katika masomo zaidi ya 15 yakijulikana kama global CAD/ Computer Aided Engineering (CAE)/ Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) na Project Management products kutoka Autodesk, PTC, Bentley, Ansys na Siemens.
Naye, Waziri wa Elimu na Mafunzo ya Ufundi Dk Shukuru Kawambwa, katika hotuba yake iliyosomwa kwa niaba yake na Kamishna wa Elimu Prof Eustella Bhalalusesa, alisema kuanzishwa kwa kituo cha mafunzo cha CADD jijini Dar es Salaam chenye ubora wa daraja la kwanza ni hatua kubwa ya mafanikio kwa Tanzania, hususani mafunzo hayo yakiwa sasa yanatolewa karibu na wahitaji.
"Hapo awali, Watanzania wengi walikuwa na hamu ya kupata mafunzo kama haya, ambayo yalikuwa yakipatikana nchi za nje pekee. Nina hakika kwamba wataalamu wataitumia fursa hii ya mafunzo haya yatakayotolewa kikamilifu ili kuongeza ufanisi katika kazi zao na kupata wataalamu wengi watakao tosheleza soko la Tanzania, " Waziri alisema.
Dk Kawambwa alisisitiza kuwa wakati kituo hichokikitoa mafunzo hayo, kinapaswa kuzingatia taratibu zote zinazotakiwa ili kukubalika kikamilifu na mamlaka zote husika. Hata hivyo, alibainisha kuwa Bodi ya Usajili wa Wahandisi tayari ilishapitisha mitaala itakayotumika katika utolewaji wa mafunzo hayo.
"Kituo hichi hakina budi kutoa mafunzo yakipekee yatakayotosheleza mahitaji ya viwanda na sekta ya huduma nchini kwa kushirikiana na taasisi za elimu ya juu. Hii itawezesha kuziba pengo lililopo la ujuzi huo baina ya wataalamu na mafundi mbalimbali," alisema.
