HEINEKEN CHAMPIONS PLANET AT OYSTERBAY IN DAR ES SALAAM PROMISES FUN AND THRILLS FOR CONSUMERS IN TANZANIA

Premium International beer brand Heineken  launched with pomp the Heineken Champions Planet at Oysterbay in Dar es salaam, which was indeed a thrilling experience for its consumers to enjoy a premium viewing experience of the UEFA Champions League 2011/12 season.

It followed the highly successful UEFA Champions League Trophy Tour 2012 presented by Heineken to Tanzania and Kenya that took place from March 23 to March 31.  During this period, the Trophy was in Tanzania for three fantastic days, that saw over 600 Heineken consumers and football fans interact with the prestigious Trophy.

The Champions League, created by UEFA in 1992, is regarded as the most prestigious club tournament in the World Football.  Heineken has been associated with the tournament as an official sponsor since the 2005/06 season. Today, it remains one of the principal sponsors of the tournament through to the 2014/15 season.

The newly launched Heineken Champions Planet in Dar es salaam  is an upscale mansion located in OysterBay (opposite Jackie's Pub) that has undergone a makeover to include a wide living room, fitted with numerous screens which will be the main viewing area.  

In addition to the main viewing room, the Heineken Champions Planet comprises of gaming rooms with a PS3 deck, foosball tables, a pool table and a well equipped media center. This set up is expected to deliver the experience of a lifetime to lucky prize winning Heineken consumers.
