Handing Over Ceremony at Michakaini „A‟ Primary School in Chakechake Town, South Pemba Region

The Government of Japan has been extending support to local communities in various sectors including health, education and water supply under the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGHSP) scheme since 1991.

On 5th June, 2015, the handing-over ceremony for “The Project for Reconstruction of a Two-storey Classroom Block at Michakaini „A‟ Primary School in Chakechake Town, South Pemba Region (JFY2013)” was held at Michakaini A Primary School.

The Government of Japan, in response to the request Embassy of Japan Dar es Salaam 6th March, 2014 by the Parents Committee of Michakaini A Primary School, extended a grant aid of US Dollars 159,037 the project in the Japanese Fiscal Year 2013, under the GGHSP scheme.
