It’s an international football feast on SuperSport this weekend with Euro 2012 qualifiers, international friendlies and Afcon 2012 qualifiers all live on SuperSport, the World of Champions.
SuperSport will broadcast 16 matches of the Fifa internationals week.
Euro 2012 qualification is just about past the halfway mark and the Netherlands will want to maintain their impeccable streak of qualifying for major tournaments with a 100% win record (having qualified for the 2010 World Cup with a 100% win record) when they take on Hungary in a Group E top-of-the-table clash live on SuperSport (Friday, SS 3A, 3N from 9pm CAT).
There are all kinds of friendlies, too, Ghana’s first ever meeting with England (Tuesday, SS HD1, from 8.55pm CAT) being the pick of the bunch. A majority of the Black Stars provide the backbone of many clubs in the English Premier League and are expected by the adoring fans of African football to pull one over the inventors of the modern game. Brazil continue their world tour with a meeting against Scotland (Sunday, SS 3A, 3N from 2.55pm CAT) while Nigeria hosts Kenya (Tuesday, SS 9, from 7.30pm).
