The National Assembly in Collaboration with the UNDP under the Legislative Support Project Conducted a one day workshop to Mps and Staff on Social and Economic Policies

Yesterday the Office of the National Assembly and the UNDP under the Legislative Support Project organized a one day workshop on Social and economic Policies, Economic growth and development to the Members of the National Assembly and staff aiming at building capacity for Mps and Staff during the Budget session in Dodoma. The workshop is part of the Legislative Support Project to strengthen the capacity of the Mps and Staff in various areas for an effective Oversight, Legislation and representation.
One of the Presenter at the workshop on Social and economic Policies, Economic growth and development to the Members of the National Assembly Dr. Haji Semboja from the University of Dar es Salaam, presenting a topic on importance of social economic policies in the budget process for sustainable economic growth and development. The workshop was organized by the office of The National Assembly in Collaboration with the UNDP under the Legislative Support Project.
